Indian head massage is a relaxing treatment taking in the head, face, neck, shoulders and upper back. It is based on an ancient therapeutic treatment practiced in India for thousands of years, originally to improve scalp and hair condition.
Indian head massage promotes deep relaxation. It relieves aches, pains and tension in your neck, back and shoulders, improves the texture of hair and encourages it to grow. Indian head massage stimulates the flow of blood, lymph and oxygen in your upper body, and therefore may clear your sinuses, relieve stress and help you sleep better. It can also help to relieve eyestrain and tension headaches.
You are seated for the treatment and the use of oils is optional. You can remain fully clothed or remove your top and use a towel to ensure your modesty.
